Autodesk Inventor Subtracting parts

Use the “Combine” tool under the Modify section to subtract or add solid bodies together. If you want to re-orient “derived” parts you must do it by creating an assembly and orienting the part in there, then deriving the assembly, not the original part.  

Using the Flashforge Creator Pro 3D Printer

Make sure simplify3D has the firmware profile set to”Makerbot/Sailfish” and in the X3G tab select Machine Profile:  Replicator 1 Dual Extruder or the scale will be wrong for everything.
